How long is my Pet CPR or First Aid certification valid?

Your Pet CPR & First Aid certification is valid for two years from the date you successfully complete the course.

Is the class hands-on?

Yes. Classes are instructor-led and include hands-on practice so you have the opportunity to perform and become comfortable with the skills being taught, including Pet CPR and emergency-response techniques.

How long does the class take?

Most classes are expected to take approximately 4.5-5 hours. However, we reserve a 6-hour class block to allow plenty of time for questions, hands-on practice, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to demonstrate the skills being taught. Private group training requires a minimum of six paid participants to qualify for the $100 per person group rate. Larger groups may be divided into multiple classes when needed to ensure everyone has adequate time for hands-on instruction.
